Patterns for Hobbit Clothes.

So! I have a number of patterns that can be made into hobbit clothes! I'm going to list them...Just in case anyone reads this. Though, finding a pattern that fits my needs in it is proving more difficult than expected.

I was thinking of using the sleeves from dress 1 (above) or dress 2 (below)
The overdress on this is very nice and may work well.

Details and Small Parts of Hobbit Clothing.

So...Yeah...Someone on NiH was confused about this, so I drew a more detailed picture. Whilst watching Rambo: FIRST BLOOD!!! <.<
The design on the added piece of fabric hasn't been decided....
My hand wiped across the page, so the green paint is smeared.

I found this in our vast amounts of sewing stuff, majorly Hobbity!
Thinking about using this for the garden dress.
As well as this.

By the way, this video (and the place it was filmed) is amazing!

Blood, Gore and SPARKLY MAKEUP!

This looks really weird against my nice new Hobbit green background, but who cares!? This is now my movie making and costume blog! So there, haha!!
I had the inspiration to do this, it came from nooowhere! Did this whilst watching HP 6. Took me exactly 45 mins to do!

The only makeup I have is sparkly, and until I get more my bruises will continue to be sparkly.

Don't mind my nose stud, it looks like a silver booger! ;)

Hobbit Clothes Designs

~So, here are some (kinda crappy) designs of Hobbit clothes that I want to make this winter!
(To anyone on NiH who reads this-would you mind giving me feedback? It would help a lot!)
Since I don't have anything else interesting to blog about, I might as well bla bla bla on about my obsession.
(Voices in head: You could just not blog at all.)
Okay, I'm going to list what they are here:
  1. Left-A soft lace front bodice over a pleated over skirt and a knee/full length shift. Middle-Same shift with a lace backed "bodice" topped dress, it has an added square of a different colour over the chest. (The colours were supposed to be green-the main part- and gold-the square.) Right-An interesting cloak, just a random design, really-no colour, fabric type or purpose. (I was in the process of painting them, but got bored.)
  2. Gardening clothes! Left-Knee length shift, soft but not see through with brown undertones. Middle-Very simple overdress, more durable fabric but still soft and light for spring/summer, in cornflower blue. (Does anyone think it should be a different colour?) Has laces on the inside so it can be pulled and tied up. Like this.
  3. Sketch of 1st Middle. (With unreadable notes! ;)
  4. Detail knee length shift
  5. Detail of simple overdress
  6. I wasn't done with this one, and wondering if I sould put the laces on the back (like a corset) or the sides.
  7. Detail of soft lace front bodice and skirts.
  8. Detail of misscoloured overdress.
  9. Detail of cloak.
  10. Original drawing of gardening dress.
Now...I know that's a lot of pictures to look at, but if you don't mind so terribly...I need some feedback!
